Have you ever heard the saying, "never work with children and animals?" Mostly, it's regarding show business, but I've heard it said in regards to photography as well. I'm of the opinion that if someone genuinely believes that, then they don't have a firm understanding of children, animals or show business!
As far as photographing animals go, it takes time, patience, and an understanding of animal habits and moods. I enjoy spending some time getting to know my subject. Some yummy treats and your four legged friend’s favourite toy, and we are ready to start.
